Putting Together Your Custom Notebook

A notebook for meeting notes may need a different layout from one used in a training course. Start with how much writing space you need and whether the pages should carry your own content.

Choose the cover and binding

A5 notebooks offer room for everyday notes, while smaller A6 styles are easier to carry. Cover choices include PU, fabric, cork and paper, depending on the model. Spiral bindings let pages fold back; ring binders allow pages to be removed or rearranged. Check the opening and writing comfort with a sample.

Decide what goes on the pages

Choose ruled, dot-grid or blank pages, or ask about printing your own planner, calendar or company information. Common paper options include 80 and 100 GSM, with availability depending on the notebook. Paper weight alone does not guarantee fountain-pen performance, so test your preferred pen on a sample if that matters for your order.

Add your logo and finishing details

Debossing presses a logo into a suitable cover without adding color. Foil stamping adds a metallic finish, while printing works for colored logos or larger artwork on compatible surfaces. Send your design so we can check its size and position against the cover texture.
